# GBOX Fin System

> GBOX (by GBOX Surf, based in Hanalei, Kauai, Hawai'i) is the next-generation GEARBOX fin box system for surfboards. It is an under-the-glass, adjustable, elliptical fin box designed for strength, easy installation, and affordability. GBOX succeeds the original GEARBOX system, which remains available for existing users.

Key product features: under-the-glass installation for structural integrity and watertight fit, 3/8" (10mm) of forward/backward adjustability, an elliptical shape for load distribution and stability, a domed dam shape for easy glass lamination during installation, and a low price point.

The system includes a comprehensive routing kit (router jig, replacement router base for Makita trim routers, layout guide, router bit, depth gauge, and trim spacer) and starter kits for those new to the system, including a legacy starter kit for existing GEARBOX users.
